9 16 Davao de Oro Land Title 1On another stint of easing applications and processes relative to land administration, DENR PENRO Davao de Oro handed thirty-eight (38) land titles or residential free patents under the Department's Handog Titulo Program to beneficiaries of Barangay Ogao, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro on September 14, 2022.

Ms. Jean Padayao, one of the program's beneficiary, expressed her gratitude to the DENR for granting the land title covering 100 square meters that she and her husband had been occupying for many years. β€œMalipayon kaayo mi kay dugay na namo gihandum nga magbaton ug kaugalingon nga titulo sa among lote” Padayao stressed.

Mayor Myrocel Clarin-Balili of the Municipality of Nabunturan, Davao de Oro, congratulated the beneficiaries sharing the joy felt by the recipients, a proof that the government indeed work for the people.

DENR XI’s Assistant Regional Executive Director for Management Services Atty. Ma. Mercedes V. Dumagan relayed the message of Regional Executive Director Bagani Fidel A. Evasco highlighting reminders for the beneficiaries to take continue caring for their land parcels, with which the government painstakingly processed to their favor with the aim of alleviating poverty and providing security of tenure.

Meanwhile, PENR Officer Rita Fe C. Gunn stressed that DENR Davao de Oro will aggressively fast-track the processing of applications for land titling within the Province, pursuant the mandates under the priority programs of the DENR and a staunch advocacy of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
