The PENR Office of Davao Del Sur recently concluded its 2nd Quarter Management Conference (ManCon) for CY 2022, an event where officials and key personnel convene to discuss and delve into the status of the office’s accomplishments.
The said event was led by its PENR Officer and in concurrent capacity as Protected Area Superintendent of Mt. Apo Natural Park- For. Alberto N. Bandiola alongside PENRO Division Chiefs, CENR Officers of Davao City, Digos City and Malalag and the Protected Area Management Office personnel of the Mt. Apo Natural Park.
The provincial convention aimed to determine the status of program implementation in terms of physical and financial targets. Issues and concerns were also tackled, and the proactive steps needed to be taken to address them.
To encourage diligence and stature among CENR Offices, PENRO Bandiola fostered a healthy competition through a ranking system. It will be based on their diligent compliance to selected MOVs or Means of Verification.
Through the said strategic move, CENRO Davao City ranked as first, CENRO Malalag came as second and CENRO Digos City placed as third.
Moreso, PENRO Davao del Sur is pleased to announce that all targets and financial utilization for the first quarter of CY 2022 were on track and have even exceeded its projected goals.
PENRO Bandiola, in his message, emphasized that the success of the organization is deeply attributed to the unified efforts of the entire personnel and in simply adopting the time-tested adage “let’s do our job and let’s do it well”. | Franklyn R. Buenaflor (PENRO Davao del Sur Information Officer)
