To discuss future avenues of cooperation between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-XI) and the National Commission of Indigenous People (NCIP-XI), Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) of Davao del Sur Alberto N. Bandiola made a courtesy call to NCIP-XI Provincial Officer Indalesio Diano.

Among the topics discussed by both officials were about Enhanced National Greening Program (eNGP), the processes involved in the Special Use for Protected Areas (SAPA) and the significance of the Free Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) in using the resources inside the IP’s territories. Harmonization of processes to improve the cooperation of both agencies were also discussed.
