Aiming to Resolve Boundary Conflicts

Gearing up for the new year, Department of Environment and Natural Resources-XI Regional Executive Director Bagani Fidel A. Evasco had a consultation meeting today, January 2, with South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. to discuss boundary concerns between Region XI and XII. Both officials vowed to strengthen their partnership and to continue giving importance in resolving boundary disputes specifically between Davao del Sur and South Cotabato. Last year, RED Evasco took initial steps to resolve boundary conflicts in Davao Region and between its neighboring Regions as this is among the Department's priority programs that he give focus on.
