This aims to showcase the talents of the students in writing and in photography as well as heighten their level of awareness with regards to the many environmental issues the world is facing today.

"Most importantly, as we are trying to heighten their awareness, we are also hoping that through this event, we can encourage them further to continue to be our partners when it comes to environmental protection and climate change mitigation," said Regional Public Affairs Office (RPAO) Chief Jayvee Jude Agas.

The MakakaLIKHAsan event which is being conducted by RPAO is in line with the celebration of the National Climate Change Consciousness Week from Nov. 19-24. This year's Judges are DENR-XI's Administrative Division Chief Atty. Chelin Joan Sonza Alug and RPAO's Information Officer I Analou T. Monajan. #TayoAngKalikasan
